Mission

It is our goal at First Baptist to be actively involved in missions. Our goal is to be a church that not only talks about missions and financially supports missions, rather one that does missions! We want to put our hands and feet in the street telling others about our savoir. We offer many different opportunities for those who want to serve, Care and Share, World Changers, local and trips abroad  are just a few of the exciting ways to serve. Ask today how you can help make First Baptist and yourself a Acts 1:8 church.

YOU

You are dearly loved by God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). According to Ephesians 1:3-7, YOU are blessed, chosen, adopted, redeemed, and forgiven! Although all humans are separated from God because of our sin (Rom. 3:23), God had YOU on His mind when He sent His Son, Jesus, from Heaven to earth as a baby. Jesus lived a perfect life, fulfilling every law of God (something humans cannot do). He then willingly took on the sins of mankind and suffered the punishment and judgment of it (Rom. 6:23). He traded His righteousness and holiness for our sins, and if YOU believe, trust, and live your life in obedience to Christ, you are forgiven your sins and are reconciled to your Father in Heaven.

Us

We are a family here at First Baptist Church North Pole. While we are not perfect, we serve a perfect God and Savior! In 2018, we spent the year learning about how to love one another as we are commanded. Our theme verse was and continues to be Romans 14:19, “So then, we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another.” We welcome you to join us as we worship our Creator and Savior, study His Word - learning how to apply it to our daily lives, and encouraging one other to keep our eyes on Christ.

Him

We believe in one God who reveals Himself as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God is eternal with no beginning and no end. God is Good, Holy, Just, Righteous, Loving, and there is no darkness in Him at all. God is completely sovereign. He cannot be tempted to sin, nor does He tempt anyone. God is creator and sustainer of all we can see and all we can’t. All creation is under God’s authority.
